Quick Reference

Welcome to this site's Quick Reference page! I created this page as a very brief and simple guide for those of you who are busy, or for those of you who would prefer a preview of each page instead of crazy clicking. :) WARNING: Dorky humor ahead! You've got to admit it's pretty... PUNNY? [Austin Powers cracks weak "Your fez is familiar..." joke; looks at Felicity and waits for approval; receives none. Quickly assumes serious expression and points gun at bad guy.] Come on, we all laugh at corny humor falling flat-- just admit it. :) Thank you for viewing this page and enjoy.

What will I find on this Quick Reference page?

How much quicker can you get? :) The format for each entry is page title and link, summary, then location of page in plain text (in case of broken hyperlinks). Summaries will describe the basic content of a page in one or two sentences. Sort of like a movie preview, but much less annoying... hopefully! If the summary catches your attention, click the link to go to its site. Ta da!

Why did you remodel your site?

Great question!... visit my What's New? page and scroll all the way down to find out. The most recent entries are at the top of the page, so the original renovation explanation (whoa that rhymes!) is at the bottom.

Oh, your site is so wonderful! How can I tell you how much I like it?

Why thank you! Simply visit the Connect with Me page. You're making me blush!

You mean to tell me you have a special page just for feedback? "That's crazy talk. You're crazy, Marge... Get off the road!" [Homer Simpson, "The Simpsons," the Frank Grimes episode]

Well, I know you're just being downright hilarious calling me Marge, but there actually is a good reason for my Connect with Me page. You see, there are tons of ways to interact with me and other visitors to my site-- a guestbook, chat room, message forum, email form, survey, plus other options! I want you to explore all of them rather than simply finding my email address and clicking on it. :) Enjoy!

What's with those menus in the upper left-hand corner of each page? Didn't you used to have a little menu thingy at the bottom of each page?

I'm actually very proud of these little menus. Before I started using them, it was a major pain to update the menu options. I'd have to change the graphic on the main index page, which wasn't too big of a deal, but I'd have to open up every other page and manually edit the little drop-down menus! That was *not* fun at all. Now, with the DHTML side menu, I only have to edit *one* JavaScript file that makes the menu for all the pages. That's much faster and easier! So don't look for drop-down menus or my imagemap anymore.

What a pain this "Quick" Reference page is. Come on and give me the summaries already!

Tut tut, so impatient! But I'll bite my tongue; after all, this IS supposed to be the Quick Reference page.
