For quite some time now, I've wanted to add a section to When The Cut Goes In Deep that would contain psychology terms and definitions as well as other psychology-related information. I thought about using an FAQ format, but I wanted to have a table of contents feel to the setup. I could have used frames, but that would have been complicated and taken up a lot of web space. Finally, I was able to find a solution: I made a help file, just like the help files commonly found in Windows.
I'm very proud of this help file; it actually took a ton of work to make. It's my first effort, so there's obviously still some room for improvement. After I made the help file, I wanted to make it accessible to my site visitors, so I created an installer program. Now, you can download the installer program, and the WTCGID Psych Center can be installed into your system.
Here are a couple of screenshots of the help file for your viewing pleasure:

Q: How much space will the Psych Center take up on my computer?
A: Only about 78 KB. The installer is about 196 KB, but it can be deleted after installation.
Q: Does the program come with an uninstaller?
A: Yes it does! To uninstall the WTCGID Psych Center, just go to its listing in the Add/Remove Programs section of the Control Panel. If, by chance, the uninstaller doesn't work, you'll have to uninstall the program manually. Just delete the folder that contains the WTCGID Psych Center files; the default directory is C:\Program Files\WTCGID Psych Center\. Next, delete the icons installed with the program; by default, an icon is installed on the Desktop and in the Start Menu. That's all there is to uninstallation.
Q: Is this program safe to download?
A: Yes. The installer is an .exe file, a type of file which can be used to transmit viruses. However, I have Norton Internet Security and Norton AntiVirus installed and running on my PC 24/7. There are way too many viruses, worms, trojans, and other nasty things proliferating on the Internet for me to have an unprotected PC-- especially now that I have a high-speed, always-on connection. If you don't already have these programs installed and running on your computer, you should do so immediately. Check out Symantec.com to get more information about these powerful, PC-protecting programs.
Q: What's the most recent version of the WTCGID Psych Center?
A: Right now, the most recent version is 1.0.
Please send me any questions, comments, and suggestions you may have.
