Movie posters for Cujo

This is hilarious! An illustrator friend of mine showed me this article, so I scanned the images and copied the text. I don’t know what magazine it came from. If you know, e-mail me and I’ll give the proper credits. Here’s the caption that went with the image:

Ghana movie posters are often created without the artist even seeing the film, and the results could teach a thing or two to the market researchers in Hollywood. For instance, the West Coast poster for CUJO had no dog in sight. Ghana’s version, a cocker spaniel-Rottweiler mix, had bloody jowls. Which is spookier? The posters are rolled up and travel from town to town as the one copy of the film moves on.
