Ral Partha Cleric Player Character:

One of my first solid flesh tone finished is displayed on this figure, although my painting of skin has since changed. I used Pactra Flesh Acrylic paint, with washes of a darker Pactra Earth Brown color that I was particularly fond of. (Unfortunately the paint line is no longer in existance, I believe, but it had excellent coverage and thinned nicely with water.) The red was painted with a Pactra Dark Red Acrylic color from the same paint line, and shaded with washes of black. Not nearly as visible from the photos as I would like, but the eyes also turned out especially well and stand out from the shadows of his dark hood.

Ral Partha Stage 3 Cleric Player Character:

Used the same color scheme as for the prior Cleric miniature, but with a bit more work involved with the steel areas. My technique for metals with these figures wasn't too involved - a basecoat of metal with a wash of black, followed by drybrushing of highlights. I think at this level of experience at miniature painting, I was using acrylics for large areas of color but Testor's Model Master Enamels for metals.
