Lakes Precision Inc. excels in the manufacturing of precision ground knives and blades for the wire processing and industrial sewing machine industry as well as contract grinding. Utilizing the state of the art Maegerle and Blohm CNC Creep Feed Grinders, and the Abplanalp production thru feed grinders along with a very low overhead, a substantial piece part savings can be realized.

With the addition of two new Blohm CNC Creep Feed Grinders equipped with rotary diamond dressers, quick change over time as well as part flexibility is maintained thus reducing piece part cost. Production is monitored at each machine with SPC to guarantee

consistent product quality, utilizing electronic visual and mechanical measurement instruments.

Lakes Precision Inc. is also equipped with a complete subcontracting manufacturing facility with CNC machining centers, along with all the secondary operation equipment to produce parts complete.

Another specialty of this well organized company is product and component assembly. With engineering support and well trained assemblers, quality can be maintained as well as cost savings with on-time deliveries. This facility is located in Three Lakes, Wisconsin with deliveries to the Chicagoland area.
