Marc's Haiku Page #1

Closed doors in my mind;
Where is the room for freedom?
I must ask the Moon.
          - Marc Myers
Darkness flows like lead;
Break open Spring! Free my heart...
The Sun screams midnight.
          - Marc Myers
Only two may go;
One cannot be the King's Fool.
I'll wait by the door.
          - Marc Myers
What are Right and Wrong?
Two birds on a broken branch,
Which still blooms in Spring.
          - Marc Myers
We pause at sunrise;
Green and silver greet our eyes.
What peace in the dew!
          - Marc Myers
Pain calls a recess;
No time to craft a sonnet.
Haiku is shorter.
          - Marc Myers
Take time to answer.
Who lives your life, why and how?
Sparrow greets the day.
          - Marc Myers
This is not a test.
No grades will be recorded.
Why get out of bed?
          - Marc Myers
Finite, unbounded
Ten thousand things only dance.
What is the first step?
          - Marc Myers
'Til it fades away,
My jest floats before the monks.
Should they laugh or cry?
          - Marc Myers
