Review
Another Bornemann/Gerlach collaboration with an original band member, bassist Klaus Peter Matziol, appearing on two tracks. Many of the numbers feature horrid falsetto singing - a technique ill-suited to Bornemann's voice. "Silent Revolution" had lots of promise, but for the mis-guided use of a children's choir to sing many of the lyrics. The closer, "Jeanne d'Arc", attempted grandiosity but in the end was a muddled mess of conflicting musical styles.(1 star)
I don't get any sense of the Eloy spirit in this effort. The few potentially bright moments were, for the most part, ruined by the inexperienced use of choirs and vocals which seemed at odds with the music. Picks are representative of the album.
