Welcome to my home on the Internet! I'm an urban/modern folk singer/songwriter based in Ferndale, Michigan. To book me for a gig (or just drop a line) you can email me at mclonisk@wideopenwest.com. To learn a little more about me, click here for a copy of my press kit! If you'd like to hear what I sound like (and maybe even purchase a copy of my CD), click here to check out my page at CD Baby!
These days I'm part of the musical collective Acoustic Bazaar, the creation of Steve Bronson. I'm also the associate producer of the public access cable TV show "Erica's Tyme". It airs in Oakland County, Michigan on WideOpenWest channel 18 and Comcast channel 52, on Saturdays at 12:30 AM, 4:00 AM and 11:30 PM, as well as Tuesdays at 9:00 in Southfield, Roseville, Oak Park, and Hamtramck on Comcast channel 18. (We know folks are watching -- check out this testimonial!) Erica Lynn, the show's executive producer, is also the founder of the Womyn's Komedy Netwerk (WKN, a group of standup comediennes) and Estrogen Tyme (a female improv group).
Busy weekend come tax time: I'm scheduled to perform at the Future Gallery on April 16. Admission is $6.00. Other great female musicians/singers will be on the bill as well.
On April 17, I'm performing with Charlie Monterey, Johnny O, and 60's Rick at the Phoenix Cafe, located at 24918 John R. in Hazel Park. The cover charge is $5.00. Coffee, tea and soda are available onsite; you can also BYOB and/or food. Free parking is available in the back. The cafe is a nice spacious venue, with plenty of room for conversation as well as checking out the performances.
