LEGEND IMAGING
BOOK NOOK
I have had a lifelong love for books. They have been my
friends and confidants since childhood. I was a constant visitor to
the public library as soon as I could be issued a card. To me, the library
was a safe haven in my childhood years and a place where the world was opened
up to me on a grand scale. Here were the wonders of the ancient world, the
fascinating destinations of world travelers, the cosmos, the past and the
future. Here I discovered fiction also, including my favorite as a youth,
science fiction.
Indeed, the library became my university, and in later years, even when
I was afforded the luxury of a college education, the library remained
as my chosen place of learning. Here, one could absorb the learning of
the ages and at a bargain price. You would not even be subjected to the
demeaning assignment of grades to show advancement; rather you could learn
for the joy of learning.
Later in life, I would remain an avid patron, but would also begin to
build my own library, patterned after my particular interests. Two of my
major interests are maps and atlases, and books about books. While the first
is fairly self explanatory, books about books covers a wide variety of material.
From books of reading lists and bibliographies, to books on bibliomania
and book collecting, and much more. I also have a recent interest in First
Editions and signed copies as well as ephemera.

engine. What you see is what you get! The selections available will change
as new material is acquired and older material is sold. If you are interested
in any book, please e-mail me at unkeia@netscape.net

what follows is the presently available selection.
