Silver Lake is located
in Oceana County in western Michigan and is separated from Lake Michigan
by the world's largest inland shifting sand dunes.
Silver Lake is great for swimming, water skiing, boating and fishing.
The dunes are for public use with a portion designated for dune buggies
and 4WD vehicles.
The area around Silver Lake includes restaurants, general stores, campgrounds,
boat rentals, miniature golf, go-cart tracks and dune scooter rides.
