New Computer Time, Redux

It's was way over due, but I have finally rebuilt my new computer, again, and came up with a very quiet, fairly  fast new computer. Built around an AMD Athlon XP 3000+, Asus A7N8X2.0 REV 2 motherboard, and Antec's good looking, quiet and solidly built Sonata Case, this has been an interesting project. The Seagate Barracude 3.5" Serial ATA 500.0 GB hard drive is fast and quiet. Even the LG GSA-H55N 20X Multi DVD Rewriter is quiet. I had enough problems in recent years to swear I would never build another PC, but the quality of some of the major PC builders (HP, Gateway, and Dell primarily) tech support lead me back to where I started eight years ago - build the damn things myself.

I have a few pictures of this thing, with the link above, but this project was much easier than previous computers - no case modifications required. This case was exactly the way I wanted my computer to end up, and the Dremel tool has now been retired from PC projects. Black case, black keyboard, black mouse, and black & silver LCD flat panel. Nothing beige left. Not the speakers. Not the scanner. Black and silver.
