Hobbies? Interests??? Do I have any??? What am I not
interested in?!?!?!?!
- Cars....I love new cars. Nothin' special, just what ever is
the latest and greatest in new cars, especially domestics. I loved my 1996 Taurus LX,
and I
enjoyed detailing it, which it frequently needed. I'm an industrial sales rep, so my cars
are
sort of a mobile office. Gets messy. However, all good things come to an
end, and so did the ownership of my Taurus. I recently traded it in, with
almost 125,000 miles on it, for a new 2005 Mercury Montego Premier AWD.
Loaded, and I mean loaded. I especially enjoy detailing cars, including my
new Montego and Maggie's Escape. My gallery of detailing work can be found
here on
http://www.lfagius.zoomshare.com/1.shtml .
- Computers!!! Yes, I have been bitten
by the the bug!!! I built
my new computer (small story on My New Computer ) - which took
a couple of weekends to fully build test and get networked to my other computer. Older
computer's now Margaret's and I successfully networked the laptop to it as well.
- Working out - again. Trying to keep fighting the
battle of the bulge!! I have a
Bowflex
and a NordicTrack
Elliptical Trainer. Try to use them a total
of six hours a week. Not
easy, but anything worthwhile usually isn't
easy.
- I'm still finding toys I didn't know I had. I
love detailing this car, and I sill like detailing my wife's new 2002
Escape XLT.
- STAR TREK (http://www.startrek.com)!!!!!!!!
Yes I'm a Star Trek Fan!! Classic Trek, Next Gen,
DS9...what ever...I LIKE IT!!!! I especially like the Star Trek novels,
including the New Frontier series - readers need some new characters. Really
enjoyed the UPN series Enterprise
- Scott Bakula is a great addition to the Star Trek family, but that's now
history.
- Outlet shopping with my wife Margaret (Margaret L. Agius)!!!!!! Here's Margaret with
our dog Sisko. This guy's a major cuddle dog - just ask
Margaret!!!!

Who's Sisko?? Well, read on!!!!
My little buddy SISKO!!!
Sisko's an almost ten year Shih Tzu, and yes, we named him after DS9's Captain Sisko (I
told you, I like Star Trek). Sisko's the friendliest, most affectionate. dog I've ever
met!!! He's my little buddy, and I love taking him for walks (or rides in my
car..."Go for a Walk Sisko" and "Go for a ride" mean the same thing to
him - he's getting out of the house with his buddy Lenny (ME!)) . I'm not talking short
walks, either...Sisko's little legs will easily carry him on some two to
two-and-a-half mile walks
(twice a day if we can...God, my feet are killing me ;) ) and then he'll grab one of his
toys and run up and down the house with it!! He's also a "tough" little guy
playing tug-of-war with his rag bone. This little ball of furry energy is just way too
cool!! He's getting old, but he hasn't slowed down much yet. While the walks in
warmer weather have shortened (his tolerance of heat has understandably come
down as he's become older), he still loves to play with his Kong ball, and
frequently I'll spend an hour throwing it around for him in the house. His mid
air catches never cease to amaze me, and he's strong for a little dog!! The grip
he puts on the ball is wild - I have to try tickling his front feet to get him
to let go. It not "fetch" we play. It's more like a amalgam of "fetch" and "keep
away".

SISKO & LENNY ARE BUDDIES
FOREVER!!!!!!!!
Me and the little fur ball on the picnic
table in the backyard!
Hey, it was a long walk, and we're
tired!!!! (Is this a dog, or a teddy bear, anyway??)

"Hey! I'm on the picnic table, and I still can't see over the fence!!"

Enough of the dog. Here's
Margaret & myself at her
employers Christmas 2000 Holiday
Party.
- Other interests...Well there's computers (and more computers)
, Babylon 5 (which is
unfortunately history) and The Outer Limits (Trek's not the only SciFi I
like, but also history), Stargate SG-1 (More Sci-Fi,
and thanks for the SciFi channel for keeping SG-1 and
Stargate Atlantis),
the new
Battlestar Galactica (thank you again SciFi channel!!) PBS's Home Time (I LOVE "The House With
Character"), The X-Files
- another great series that will live on in reruns. No wonder I'm overweight
again - I spend too damn much time in front of the computer and the TV!!!
