Anti Aircraft Gun

The anti aircraft battery is one of my favorite parts of this project.

It would be foolish to expect a light anti aircraft emplacement to be protected from direct strafing attacks but the crew has done the best they can with what they have.

Built from a rag-tag bunch of parts, its gun crew creatively welded on bits of armor plating to provide at least some protection during attacks.

Camoflauge netting helps to conceal the implacement from casual airial observation. It may just buy them enough time to score a few lucky shots on attacking enemy aircraft. Three .50 caliber machine guns can do a lot of damage - if they do get spotted this just might be the last thing an enemy pilot would ever see.
