Ernie's Travels
Home On the Go Gathering No Moss Grand Canyon On the Road Again Homeward Bound

Truth or Consequences is a fact of daily life!

My grandson, Bryant, and I also found 'T or C' along I-25 in New Mexico while on our western motor trip in June, 2002. We detoured for a few minutes to view the town named after an old radio program. Then it was on the road again to a ghost town, many dust devils, Tombstone, Bisbee, Kartchner Caverns (no cameras allowed), and Saguaro National Park east of Tucson. After meeting my daughter, Debby, at the Phoenix airport, we drove north to Sedona and the Oak Creek Canyon, Sunset Crater National Park, Meteor Crater, Petrified Forest National Park, the Painted Desert, and the highlight of the trip - the Grand Canyon National Park.

After more desert driving, we crossed and toured the Hoover Dam before our stay at the Excalibur and more walking and exploring the 'strip' including a magic show in Las Vegas. After Debby flew away, Bryant and I headed northeast to Arches National Park in Utah.

In Colorado, some left-over snow could be seen in the mountains above 11,000 feet. We rode the Georgetown Loop Railroad followed by a stop at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science. Then we made one last stop in Old Abilene, Kansas, and learned that the prairie dogs had been drowned; but that's another story. We took the pictures with an EPSON 3000zPC digital camera.
