What:
A poetry open mic with featured poets, slams and other assorted poetic devices.
When:  Open mic @ 8:00 pm  every Wednesday, slam every last Wednesday
Where:

Kafe Kerouac   2250 N. High Street Columbus, OH 43201  (614) 299-2672
How:  $5 at the door
Who:  We are Columbus's most diverse, irreverant and
nationally lauded night of poetry, period.

We put the fun back in poetry and have been doing so for over 8 years.
It's the unique poetry, the wacky MCs, the interactive games. Veteran poets of our reading
have published over 20 volumes of poetry, done national tours and been featured on
National Public Radio (NPR) multiple times.

We're the home of countless open mic poets, run a merchandise table for poets who
read each week and we feature poets from all over the country when they're in the area.

We're also the "locker room" for Columbus's nationally-lauded National Poetry Slam
team as well as the Midwest Poetry Slam League team (The Columbus Thunderpants).
We hosted the annual Rust Belt Regional Poetry competition for two years straight.
