What type of chocolate is used?

We use premium Couverture Belgian Chocolate. It does not require the addition of any type of oil because Couverture is a kind of chocolate that has more cocoa butter than regular chocolate. 

What dipping items can be used with the Fountain?

Whatever sounds good to you!  Some of the most popular dipping items are bananas, strawberries, rice crispy treats, pretzels, chocolate sandwich cookies and marshmallows.

How much time will you need to set up for the event?

We will arrive approximately 1 hour prior to the starting time listed on your contract to set up.

Can the Chocolate Fountain be used outdoors?

Our chocolate fountain is mainly used indoors.   You don't want anything flying into your chocolate. 

An outdoor tent with walls may be an option provided all electrical and table requirements are met.

Location is very important inside your venue so the fountain won't be affected by air movement, like air conditioning or heaters. Every care must be taken to ensure that it is draft free so the unit will maintain its temperature.

How long will you be at my event?

The initial rental is for 2 hours. Any additional time may be purchased at $25 for each additional 1/2 hour.  (No refunds available for use of fountain less than 2 1/2 hours)

 

 

How many people will the chocolate fountain serve?

Our 16" fountain can be used for events up to 25 people.  Our 19" fountain can be used for events with approximately 25 to 50 people.  Our small (27") fountain is used for events with 50 to 120 people.  Our medium (34") fountain can be used for events of 120 people and up.  However, we will replenish the chocolate* and any needed dipping items throughout the event.

*Our basic and premier packages provide 4 lbs. of chocolate for our 16", 6 lbs. of chocolate for our 19" fountain, 10 lbs. of chocolate for our small (27") fountain and 20 pounds of chocolate for our medium (34") fountain.  If your event requires more chocolate, we offer you the ability to purchase additional chocolate in 2 pound increments at a price of $15 ($65/10 lbs.)

Are there any table and electrical requirements?

The table must be very sturdy (must hold 150 lbs) and level for the fountain to operate properly. Our fountain requires a grounded, 120 volt electrical outlet with 15 amps within 10 feet of where the fountain will be located.

Do you require a deposit?

Yes, we require a $200.00 non-refundable deposit upon receiving your signed contract to reserve your date.  The remaining balance is due 14 days prior to your event.  For the 16" or 19" fountains, payment is due in full at time of contract signing.

Will you customize the display to match my theme?

Our customary display will be elegant and tasteful.  It will beautifully display the fountain surrounded by all dipping items, plates and napkins.  However, if you'd like to add additional decorations to the display to coordinate with your theme, we'll be more than happy to oblige!  Call for a quote!
