John met and married Emma in Bruce County, Ontario, where they lived until after Janie was born. They then moved to Lapeer County, Michigan, where the second child was born. Emma died there about three months after the birth of the baby.

The children were divided with Jenie, the Canadian, going to her Aunt Janis McLeod, as her father's parents were unable to care for her. Emma, the American, was sent back to Canada to her mother's parents, with whom she lived until her marriage.

John moved with some of the other members of the family in 1880 to Isabella County, Michigan, where he met and married Ortensia. They lived in the central part of Michigan until 1909 when they moved to Senlac, Saskatchewan. John and Ortensia returned to Michigan for a visit again in the summer of 1917 and then returned to Senlac where he died.

Ortensia Mogg married William Horsely in the summer of 1935 and lived with him in Montpelier, Idaho, until her death.

Ellsworth was the next younger brother of his new mother-in-law. Janie and Ellsworth lived their entire married life in Denver Township, on a farm on the Rosebush road until 1908, when they moved almost a mile away, on a farm adjoining that of his sister Martha Bloom, where they remained until his death. In later years, Ellsworth operated a Raleigh Products route in Clare County.

After Ellsworth's death, which occurred in an automobile accident, Janie spent the remaining years with her children with the exception of two periods spent with Harry and Amanda Mogg in Mt Pleasant and Mary Bird, Ellsworth's sister, in St Johns, Michigan.

Janie died of a heart attack at Houghton Lake, at the cottage of her cousin Lillie Cooper. She and Ellsworth are buried in the Denver Cemetery.

Emma returned to Port Elgin, Ontario, upon her mother's death. She lived with her Cluley grandparents until her marriage. She and Alfred lived near Port Elgin for some years and then moved to western Canada where they lived until his death.

Emma then returned to Port Elgin where she lived until 1933 when she married Mr. Lucas, a retired barger, and moved to Atwood, Ontario, where they lived until her death.

Bessie and James lived in Michigan during the early years of their marriage, later moving to Saskatchewan, where her parents then lived, settling on a farm near Senlac.

After James' death, Bessie returned to Michigan, where she met John Gamble, married him, and lived for some time in Saginaw. They now live in Coleman, Michigan.

Leslie and Gladys live in Melfort, Saskatchewan, where he is the local sheriff.

Jim lives in Cameron, Missouri

Frank and Loretta lived on several farms in various parts of Isabella County while raising their large family. Frank's death was caused by asphyxiation while deer hunting near Bertha Lake. Burial is in Calvary Cemetery, Mt Pleasant, Michigan. Loretta is presently living in Mt Pleasant.

Minnie had an illness as a small child which necessitated her learning to walk again. This prevented her attaining her full growth, so that she was less than five feet tall and at no time weighed more than one hundred pounds. She lived all of her life in Denver Township. She and George lived a mile from her parents' home. In 1947, Minnie developed a cancer and was ill until her death in 1949. Burial is in Denver Township Cemetery. In 1953, George married Mrs. Ethel Allerton Chamberlain, from whom he was subsequently divorced. Then in 1955, he married again to Mrs. Lila Foutch Adams, who outlived him.

Mynard lived in Flint, Michigan, and worked for the I E DuPont Corporation. Death was caused by a heart attack and burial is in the Sunset Hills Cemetery in Flint. Bea, a beautician, still lives in Flint.

John and Mary live in Flint, Michigan, where he works for the Buick Motor Division, General Motors.

Emma and Aime live in Flint, Michigan, where he operates Aime's Iron Works.

Archie and Ethel live in Alberta, Canada.

Jim and Beryl live in Atwood, Georgia, where Jim is an insurance salesman.

Luella and Donald live in Calgary, Alberta.

Vernon and Violet live in Kansas City, Missouri, where he sells banking equipment for Todd Company.

Dorthea and John live in Edmonton, Alberta, where he sells insurance.

Onilee and Bob live outside of Macklia, Saskatchewan, where he is a farmer.

Zella and Howard live in Edmonton, Alberta, where he is an engineman for the Canadian National Railroad.

Jean and Aubrey live in Sault Ste Marie, Ontario, where he manages a Remington-Rand agency.

Verva and Bob live in Kansas City, Missouri.

Elton and Helen live in Riverdale, Michigan. He is employed at Brink's Machine Shop, Alma, Michigan.

Bob and Fern live in Shepherd, although he works at the Mt Pleasant State Home and Training School. Fern operated a beauty shop in Shepherd prior to her marriage.

Harold and Therese live outside of Shepherd, Michigan. He is employed at Dow Chemical, Midland, Michigan.

Don and Mary Jane live in Roseville, Michigan. Done is a mail carrier.

Arden met and married Adele in Austria where he was stationed with the U S Army. They now live in Alma, Michigan, where he works for Alma Dairy.

Mary lives in Mt Pleasant, Michigan.

Maxine lives in Mt Pleasant and works at the Mt Pleasant State Home and Training School.

Ken is currently with the U S Army in Germany.

Wayne and Bonnie live in Mt Pleasant, Michigan. Wayne works for a construction contractor.

Death was caused by bronchial pnemonia after a long seige with infantile paralysis. Burial is in the Denver Cemetery.

Laura and Warren live in Alma, Michigan, where he works for Consumers' Power.

Jerry and Joanne live in Flint, Michigan, where Jerry is a wood pattern maker for Buick.
