ARMED SERVICES DAY 2004

 The Big Band Express played a performace for the men and women of the military at Hudson
Auditorium at 2:30pm on Sunday, August 15th 2004.  With Trombone player Mike Rumbell as our MC the Audience was treated to background information, history and facts about each tune we played to an appreciative audience.  We began with a march medley that played the melodies from the Army, Navy, Marines and Coast Guard.  During the rest of the hour we played swing tunes like In The Mood, String of Pearls and Pennsylvania 6-5000.  The performance ended with God Bless America.

The State Fair personnel were very helpful transporting us to and from the Auditorium.  This was the 2nd year in a row we have performed at the State Fair.  Hopefully it will become an annual performance.
