  2. In a large fry pan, brown the following:
  3. Cook until onions are translucent. Add beef and potatoes& dry wine, Cook down til there is no wine left (dry).
  4. Make pastie dough (any will do).
  5. Make pastie squares and fill with meat and potato filling.
  6. Bake at 350o F for 20 -30 min until brown.
  7. Make a sauce in the same pan that the meat and the potatoes were in. Add 1/2 cup beef stock and 3 tbsp wine. Cook down a little bring to a simmer, add corn starch or arrowroot. Thicken till sauce coats the back of a spoon.
