Glen Johnson is a gifted minister of the Gospel, pertaining to the areas of teaching, evangelism, and victorious living through a non-compromising style that perfects the saints through God's Word. Glen Johnson is the founding pastor of Valour Christian Fellowship, a non-denominational, New Testament patterned church, located in north Columbus.
Pastor Johnson was born again on the aircraft carrier, USS America, during the Vietnam war. Shortly after his tour of duty, God led him into ministry in the jails and prisons. In 1977, Pastor Johnson graduated from Kenneth Hagin's Rhema Bible Training Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Throughout the eighties he ministered in various evangelistic outreaches.
Valour Christian Fellowship was founded in 1993. Through faithfulness of ministry and prayerfully seeking God, Pastor Johnson was led by God to start Valour House. Valour House provides housing for those seeking recovery from drugs and alcohol and to provide ex-offenders with a stable environment necessary to return them as productive members of society. Valour House presently has three houses in operation in Franklin County, with several others slated to open by the end of 1998. Valour Christian Fellowship also conducts regular crusades, providing food and clothing to needy families throughout the community.
Pastor Johnson and his wife, Christine, have been married 18 years and have two children, Nick (14) and Nathan (11). Nathan was miraculously healed by God of cancer at the age of twenty months. Since then, Pastor Johnson has been used mightily of God to heal and deliver people of sickness and diseases.
