When installing Outlook for the first time Outlook shows you a screen like this.
Click Next

Click Internet Only
Click Next

Type your name in the Display name field.

Click Next

In the E-mail address: field enter your wow email address

.
Click Next

Set the My incoming mail server field to POP3.
Set the Incoming Mail (POP3) server field

Set the Outgoing Mail (SMTP) server field to

Click Next

Enter your WOW Account Name

.
Enter your WOW Password.
Click Next

Under Connection Type, select LAN.

Click Finish

Email Setup After Outlook 2000 Initial Installation

Open Up Outlook.
Click Tools and then Accounts.



Click Add and choose Mail.



Type your name into Display Name.




In the E-mail address field enter your wow email address.


Set My incoming mail server to POP3
Set the Incoming Mail (POP3) server field to pop3.mail.wowway.com
if you have a wowway.com email address or pop3.mail.wideopenwest.com
if you have a wideopenwest.com address.
Set the Outgoing Mail (SMTP) server to smtp.mail.wowway.com if
your using a wowway.com email address or smtp.mail.wideopenwest.com
if your using a wideopenwest.com address.
Click Next





Enter your WOW Account Name
Enter your WOW Password
Click Next




Select Connect using my Local Area Network (LAN).
Click Next


Click Finish
